News on H&F Climate

Thank you for taking the time to give us your views on addressing the climate and ecological emergency. We've had a great response and will be feeding back some of the key findings shortly.

In the meantime, you might have your own ideas on community projects that could improve your local environment or raise awareness of the need for all of us to play our part in helping to combat climate change. If you're inspired to set up a community garden or a food waste project, create community art from recycled materials, or raise funds for a green energy installation on a community building, you can join the many organisations across H&F who have used crowdfunding platform Spacehive to raise funds for your idea.

H&F Council has a partnership with Spacehive and have created our own page, the H&F Hive , for projects raising funds in the borough. The council has two funds on the H&F Hive to which local projects can pitch. To date, there have been 43 great projects that have successfully hit their fundraising targets, raising from less than £200 to £112,000!
